IC İçtaş Construction is a global brand with over 50 years of experience in domestic and international projects. Since its establishment, the company has successfully completed numerous projects ranging from airports, ports, marinas, roads, and bridges to high-speed railways, high-capacity power plants, and tourism facilities.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Traffic Engineer to join our team for our road project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, or highway infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience in traffic impact assessments, junction analysis, road safety studies, and traffic management plans.
  • Knowledge of international standards and guidelines such as AASHTO, MUTCD, DMRB, and relevant local regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with traffic engineering software such as SIDRA, VISSIM, SYNCHRO, AutoTURN, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
  • Experience in highway, motorway, urban roads, and large-scale transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous Middle East and Saudi Arabia project experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review traffic engineering designs, traffic management plans, and temporary traffic control schemes for highway and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct traffic impact studies, traffic modeling, capacity analysis, and junction performance assessments.
  • Design and coordinate road signing, pavement markings, way finding systems, road safety devices, and traffic control measures.
  • Prepare and review traffic diversions, detour plans, work zone traffic management plans, and construction staging proposals.
  • Coordinate with road, geometric, civil, structural, and transportation disciplines to ensure design integration.
  • Review traffic forecasts and implement transportation planning solutions in accordance with project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, client requirements, and international traffic engineering standards.
  • Participate in road safety audits (RSA), hazard identification studies, and value engineering workshops.
  • Support approvals and coordination processes with relevant governmental authorities and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support during construction activities and monitor compliance with approved traffic management plans.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering documentation for clients and project management.
