BIM Modeler – MEP

The BIM Modeler – MEP is responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. The role ensures that models are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with project standards while supporting design coordination, quantity extraction, and construction activities.

• Develop, update, and maintain MEP BIM models in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project requirements.
• Coordinate model updates with the MEP Coordinator, MEP Engineers, and other project stakeholders to incorporate design revisions and site changes.
• Produce accurate 3D models, detailed drawings, and documentation using BIM software.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate the resolution of clashes between MEP systems and architectural, structural, and other discipline models.
• Generate MEP shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings from BIM models.
• Extract quantities, material take-offs, schedules, and reports to support procurement and construction teams.
• Ensure all BIM models comply with project standards, company procedures, and client requirements.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and implement agreed actions.
• Maintain model integrity, version control, and proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support construction and site teams by providing updated models and resolving model-related technical issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective coordination and timely project delivery.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP BIM Modeler, preferably in construction or healthcare projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP
  , Navisworks Manage
  , and AutoCAD
  .
• Experience with clash detection, shop drawing production, and quantity extraction.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, BIM standards, and construction documentation.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plans is an advantage.

• Experience working on large-scale building projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360 is preferred.
