Role Context The Junior Civil Engineer will work within a structured development environment that combines practical assignments with guidance from experienced engineering professionals. The position is intended to strengthen technical capability while providing exposure to the procedures, systems, and coordination practices used on multidisciplinary projects. Assignments may extend beyond traditional civil engineering tasks into Project Controls, Procurement, Construction Management, and other engineering disciplines.

This broader exposure will help the engineer understand how technical design decisions connect with planning, commercial requirements, procurement activities, and construction execution.

Support civil engineering assignments by applying fundamental engineering principles, calculations, and analytical methods.

• Assist senior engineers with technical studies, calculations, design reviews, and engineering documentation.
• Perform assigned civil engineering tasks under appropriate supervision and technical guidance.
• Apply engineering theories and standard practices to practical project requirements.
• Support preparation and review of drawings, sketches, calculations, reports, and technical information.
• Use computer-aided engineering tools to support calculations, analysis, and engineering assessments.
• Work with CAD applications to prepare, review, or update engineering drawings.
• Assist with design coordination between civil engineering and other technical disciplines.
• Develop familiarity with project specifications, engineering standards, procedures, and internal quality requirements.
• Support checking of technical information for accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and coordination activities when required.
• Assist engineering teams in resolving routine technical issues.
• Support collection and organization of engineering information needed for project activities.
• Develop practical knowledge of construction drawings, design documentation, and project records.
• Participate in structured rotational assignments where applicable.
• Gain exposure to Project Controls processes including scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Support Procurement activities by reviewing technical information associated with materials, equipment, or supplier requirements.
• Gain practical exposure to Construction Management and site delivery processes.
• Observe how engineering designs are implemented during construction.
• Support coordination between design teams and construction personnel where required.
• Assist with technical documentation needed for approvals, project records, or reporting.
• Follow established company procedures and engineering workflows.
• Maintain organized records of assigned calculations, drawings, reports, and technical correspondence.
• Develop understanding of multidisciplinary interfaces involving civil, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
