Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer produces specifications for, designing, developing, manufacturing, and installing new or modified mechanical components

or systems with engineering design drawings and manages and control enterprise asset.

• Develops and prepares engineering designs from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.
• Measures the performance of mechanical components, devices, and engines.
• Participates and prepares SOW with project department.
• Reviews tenders' inquiries and monitors site progress report.
• Maintains and modifies equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable, and efficient.
• Uses computer-aided design/modelling software.
• Follows with instruction manuals and technical drawings
• Strictly adhere to KHAZEEN safety and security regulations and take precautionary measures within the relevant scope of work.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards in the Engineering & Planning Section.
• Keeps equipment operating in good condition by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, required preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
• Monitors and tracks project progress and writing up reports.
• Handles rezoning, site plans, special use permits, and related materials.
• Performs other duties and tasks assigned by line manager.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent

· 5+ years of related experience in a similar industry or similar size company
