Position Overview
We are seeking a Civil 3D Engineer – Airport Utilities with 2–5 years of experience in civil infrastructure BIM projects, preferably involving airport developments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D, Dry Utilities, Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL), Airport Electrical Systems, and BIM Utility Coordination.
Candidates with prior experience on airport projects, particularly involving AGL systems and airport utility infrastructure, will be given strong preference.
Key Responsibilities
Civil 3D Modeling & Utility Design
- Model and coordinate Dry Utilities, including:
- Electrical Utility Networks
- Telecom Networks
- Duct Banks
- Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) Infrastructure
- Prepare utility corridors, alignments, grading, corridors, profiles, and cross-sections.
- Produce high-quality shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built documentation.
Airport Infrastructure
- Develop and coordinate infrastructure models for airport landside and airside utility systems.
- Support the design and coordination of Airport Electrical Systems.
- Coordinate Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) ducting layouts, cable routing, chambers, handholes, and associated civil infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with airport engineering standards and project specifications.
BIM Coordination
- Perform interdisciplinary coordination using Navisworks.
- Resolve clashes between civil, electrical, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Coordinate utility networks with all project stakeholders.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and implement approved design changes.
Documentation & Quality
- Manage RFIs, issue tracking, and documentation using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, and Revizto.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), LOD standards, and client requirements.
- Perform quality checks on all BIM deliverables before submission.

Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Civil Infrastructure BIM.
- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Experience in Dry Utility modeling is mandatory.
- Previous Airport Infrastructure project experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) projects will be a significant advantage.
Preferred Industry Background
Candidates from organizations involved in airport infrastructure and Airfield Ground Lighting projects will be highly preferred, including those with experience in:
- Airport EPC Contractors
- Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) Specialists
- Airport Infrastructure Design Consultants
- Aviation Infrastructure Contractors
- Airport Systems Integrators
Experience working on major airport expansion, rehabilitation, or greenfield airport projects is highly desirable.
- Joining: Immediate / ASAP
- Nationality: Saudi Nationals with Civil 3D expertise will be highly preferred.
- Driving License: Candidate must own a car for site coordination and project requirements.
- Willingness to support airport infrastructure projects across KSA.
