Any Job Type: Full-time Role Context The Environmental Engineer will work with experienced professionals on contaminated sediment, soil and groundwater projects. The position combines field investigations, technical analysis, remediation support, environmental documentation and stakeholder coordination. It also contributes to environmental compliance and Environmental Social and Governance sustainability initiatives throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
* Support contaminated sediment, soil and groundwater remediation projects.
* Contribute to environmental compliance and sustainability assignments.
* Assist with remedial investigations and feasibility studies.
* Support the preparation of remediation designs and action plans.
* Conduct technical analyses under the guidance of senior professionals.
* Plan and coordinate environmental field-data collection.
* Collect soil, sediment, groundwater, surface-water and air samples.
* Perform environmental site assessments and site-characterization activities.
* Support the implementation and monitoring of remediation works.
* Conduct contaminant fate and transport modelling.
* Apply appropriate and innovative environmental sampling methods.
* Organize field data and maintain accurate project documentation.
* Operate and maintain environmental monitoring equipment.
* Support remediation system operation, maintenance and monitoring.
* Prepare technical reports and environmental documentation.
* Maintain productive relationships with clients and contractors.
* Coordinate with engineering consultants and regulatory agencies.
* Work with regional and national environmental specialists.
* Participate in technical practice groups and professional-development activities.
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols.
* Assist with subcontractor direction and basic supervisory activities.
* Maintain accurate records of sampling, monitoring and field observations. Ideal Profile
* Bachelor 's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Master 's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field is preferred.
* Strong analytical and environmental problem-solving capabilities.
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
* Valid driving licence with a satisfactory driving record.
* Ability to work safely in field and project environments.
* Commitment to environmental compliance and established safety procedures.
* HAZWOPER 40-hour training certification is advantageous.
* Experience with drilling, soil logging and monitoring-well installation is preferred.
* Practical knowledge of environmental sampling methods.
* Experience operating or monitoring remediation systems is beneficial.
* Familiarity with environmental site assessments and remediation practices.
* Knowledge of waste management and sustainability initiatives is advantageous.
* Experience using fate and transport modelling tools is preferred.
* Understanding of Middle East environmental regulations is beneficial.
* Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong organization and time-management abilities.
* Willingness to work in diverse and challenging field conditions.
