Responsibilities
- Inspect mechanical installations including HVAC plumbing and fire-fighting systems for compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Review contractor method statements and material submittals for mechanical works
- Witness testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment
- Identify and record non-conformances following up on corrective actions with the contractor
- Maintain accurate inspection records checklists and photographic documentation
- Coordinate with the Resident Engineer and design team on mechanical technical queries
- Support the verification of mechanical materials and equipment against approved specifications
- Monitor contractor compliance with health and safety requirements during mechanical works
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in mechanical inspection on construction sites
- Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and fire-fighting installation standards
- Experience reviewing mechanical shop drawings and material submittals
- KSA experience preferred
