Job DescriptionWe're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MEP Engineer to join our growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial and residential projects. You will work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems while maintaining compliance with local and international building standards.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex projects efficiently from conception through completion.
- Design and develop MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing networks using industry-standard software and tools
- Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation for MEP systems
- Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural designs to ensure compatibility and optimal building performance
- Analyze and resolve design conflicts and technical challenges through collaborative problem-solving
- Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for MEP components and installations
- Conduct site inspections and supervise MEP installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to facilitate effective project execution
- Ensure all designs and documentation comply with Saudi building codes, regulations, and international standards
- Maintain organized project files, documentation, and records for audit and reference purposes
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input on MEP-related matters
- Analyze energy efficiency opportunities and recommend sustainable MEP solutions
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in MEP engineering or related field
- Advanced proficiency in MEP design software, particularly AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing design principles
- Comprehensive understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations applicable to MEP systems
- Demonstrated experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and coordination
- Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in project management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration

Experience with MEP projects in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia - Preferred:

Experience in energy modeling and sustainability analysis - Preferred:
Knowledge of construction cost estimation and project budgeting
