Electrical Design Engineer; Data Center

Responsibilities

Prepare and develop electrical design and engineering deliverables for Data Center projects under the guidance of the Lead Develop and review SLDs load schedules cable sizing equipment sizing layouts earthing and lighting designs Support design of HT LT distribution transformers DGs UPS PDU PMCC busducts and critical power systems Coordinate with Civil Structural Mechanical ELV and Execution teams for design interfaces and clash resolution Review vendor consultant drawings and technical submittals for compliance with project requirements Provide technical support to site teams for design clarifications and execution-related issues Ensure design deliverables are prepared accurately and issued within project timelines Maintain design documentation revisions and technical records as per project requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 - 8 years of relevant electrical design experience, preferably in Data Centers, mission-critical facilities or large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, DG, UPS, transformers, electrical panels, busducts and power distribution.
• Hands-on experience in SLDs, load calculations, equipment sizing, cable sizing and electrical layouts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of IEC/IS/NFPA standards and electrical design practices.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Strong analytical, documentation and technical problem-solving skills.
• Prior Data Center/mission-critical project experience preferred.
