Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive testing and commissioning activities to ensure all systems, equipment, and installations meet design specifications, performance standards, and regulatory requirements. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to verify system functionality, identify and resolve technical issues, and document all commissioning activities with precision and efficiency.
- Develop, execute, and document detailed testing and commissioning plans aligned with project specifications and industry standards
- Perform systematic testing of equipment, systems, and installations to verify proper operation and compliance with design requirements
- Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and identify any deficiencies or non-conformances that require resolution
- Calibrate instruments and equipment to ensure accurate measurement and data collection throughout the testing process
- Analyze test results and performance data to evaluate system functionality and troubleshoot technical issues
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to resolve identified problems and implement corrective actions
- Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports documenting test procedures, results, observations, and recommendations
- Ensure all testing activities comply with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies
- Maintain organized records of all commissioning documentation, test certificates, and equipment certifications
- Communicate technical findings and status updates to project stakeholders and management in a clear and professional manner
- Support the transition of systems from commissioning to operational status through knowledge transfer and training
- Proven 10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of industrial systems, equipment, or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, commissioning procedures, and quality assurance protocols
- Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving with a systematic and analytical approach
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, API, ASME, or equivalent)
- Experience with test equipment operation, calibration, and data analysis
- Solid understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems depending on the project scope
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare clear technical reports
- Ability to work effectively in team environments and coordinate with multiple departments
- Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Experience with project management tools and software
- Familiarity with automation systems and control systems (preferred)
- Industry-specific certifications or training in commissioning practices (preferred)
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects (preferred)
