Lead mechanical design and engineering for Data Center construction projects from concept through IFC and execution support
Develop and review designs for HVAC chilled water systems CRAC CRAH units cooling towers pumps piping and ventilation systems
Review heat-load calculations equipment sizing HVAC layouts schematics piping layouts and design specifications
Ensure designs comply with project specifications applicable codes standards and Data Center redundancy requirements
Coordinate with Electrical Civil Structural Fire Life Safety ELV and Execution teams for multidisciplinary interfaces
Review consultant vendor drawings technical submittals equipment selections and shop drawings
Support value engineering design optimisation and resolution of technical design issues
Provide technical support to site teams during execution testing and commissioning
Lead mechanical design deliverables ensuring quality accuracy and timely completion
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
10–15 years of relevant mechanical design experience, preferably in Data Centers, mission‑critical facilities or large‑scale industrial projects. - Strong expertise in HVAC and critical cooling systems, including chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, pumps, cooling towers and ventilation.
- Hands‑on experience in heat‑load calculations, equipment selection, HVAC design, hydraulic calculations and piping systems.
- Strong understanding of Data Center cooling and redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N, etc.).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM and relevant design software will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of applicable ASHRAE, SMACNA, IS and NFPA standards.
- Strong multidisciplinary coordination, design review and technical problem‑solving skills.
- Prior Data Center/mission‑critical project experience highly preferred.
