Responsibilities
Conduct topographic boundary and other surveys to support railway project planning and construction Use surveying equipment such as total stations GPS and laser scanners to accurately measure and map land features Analyze survey data prepare detailed reports and create precise maps for railway infrastructure development Collaborate with engineers architects and construction teams to ensure accurate location and alignment of railway tracks stations and structures Verify legal descriptions and land ownership boundaries to facilitate land acquisition and right-of-way negotiations Implement safety procedures during surveying activities to protect personnel and equipment Maintain survey equipment calibrate instruments and ensure tools are in optimal working condition
Qualifications- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in using surveying software and equipment.
- Strong understanding of railway construction principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in survey data collection and analysis.
- Knowledge of land surveying laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced railway project environment.
