Responsible for the technical review, supervision, testing, commissioning, and coordination of mechanical systems for ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities- Review mechanical IFC drawings, shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
- Supervise HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
- Review equipment selections, technical data sheets, calculations, and manufacturers’ submissions.
- Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, infrastructure, and other disciplines.
- Review RFIs and resolve mechanical design, interface, and site technical issues.
- Conduct site inspections and review WIRs/MIRs.
- Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, progress, and quality.
- Review and witness testing, commissioning, and system performance activities.
- Review NCRs and verify corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with SBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and other applicable standards.
- Review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and close-out documents.
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of overall relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with a Consultant / PMC organization.
- Strong technical background in the relevant discipline, with proven ability to review designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, technical submittals, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong experience in design review, construction supervision, technical coordination, site execution, quality control, and contractor management.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant international codes and standards.
- Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) in the appropriate professional classification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
