Tendering Team Leader

EDECS is seeking an experienced Tendering Team Leader to ensure the accuracy, feasibility, and compliance of assigned deliverables with tender requirements while providing technical guidance and supporting the successful preparation and coordination of technical proposals.

• Review technical submissions for completeness, accuracy, and quality.
• Ensure documents are consistent and aligned with tender requirements.
• Verify compliance with client expectations and technical specifications.
• Maintain high standards of quality across all technical deliverables.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within tender deadlines.
• Monitor progress against the overall submission schedule.
• Identify potential delays and workflow constraints.
• Take corrective actions to maintain timely submission of tender deliverables.

• Participate in technical clarification meetings with clients when required.
• Address client technical concerns and clarify ambiguities in the submission.
• Explain technical aspects of the proposed solutions.
• Provide technical input to strengthen the overall bid position
• Assist in developing project methodologies and execution plans.
• Provide technical input to establish clear and practical approaches for project delivery.
• Coordinate with planning and engineering teams during the development of methodologies.
• Ensure proposed execution approaches are technically sound and achievable.

• Coordinate with other teams to prepare integrated technical submissions.
• Facilitate communication between different departments and disciplines.
• Align deliverables to ensure consistency across the submission.
• Identify and resolve conflicts, gaps, or inconsistencies between disciplines.

• Allocate and monitor daily tasks for team members to ensure an efficient workflow.
• Assign responsibilities based on team members’ capabilities and workload.
• Track task completion and overall progress.
• Identify potential bottlenecks and take corrective actions when required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 7 years in technical tendering or technical office with at least 2 years in a team-leading role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
