The Irrigation Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design review, construction supervision, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems associated with major roads, highways, bridges, and landscape developments. The role requires extensive experience within PMC and construction supervision environments to ensure irrigation works are executed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requir
Key Responsib
- ilities:
Review and supervise irrigation design drawings, calculations, shop drawings, and technical su - bmittals.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and contract requ - irements.
Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of irrigation installati - on works.
Review contractor method statements, material submittals, and testing pr - ocedures.
Coordinate with civil, landscape, utility, and infrastructure teams to ensure proper integration of irrigation - systems.
Monitor project progress and provide technical recommendations to resolve engineerin - g issues.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project quality requ - irements.
Participate in project meetings and prepare technical reports and progress - updates.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities of irrigation networks and associated
Qualifications & E
- xperience:
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related - discipline.
Minimum 15 years of professional - experience.
Extensive experience in major roads and bridge - s projects.
Proven experience within PMC and construction supervisio - n projects.
Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, hydraulic design principles, and landscape infr - astructure.
Experience in large-scale infrastructure and transportation projects within the GCC region is - preferred.
Professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is - preferred.
