Planning Engineer in KSA.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, including WBS, milestones, baseline schedules, and critical path analysis.
- Coordinate schedules with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning teams.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, histograms, earned value analysis, and look-ahead schedules.
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and slippages, and recommend mitigation, recovery, and acceleration plans.
- Review subcontractor schedules and monitor performance against approved programmes.
- Analyze delays and disruptions and support Extension of Time (EOT) and delay analysis requirements.
- Support tender planning by preparing bid schedules and resource-loaded programmes.
- Present schedule performance, risks, and corrective actions during project review meetings.
- Mentor Planning Engineers and Coordinators and review their planning deliverables for accuracy and quality.
- Promote consistent planning standards, reporting methods, and continuous improvement across projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10 + years of experience in planning and project controls, preferably in large-scale infrastructure, EPC, airport, BHS, or MHS projects.
- Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Project and Power BI is preferred.
- Strong experience in baseline scheduling, resource planning, critical path analysis, delay analysis, EOT preparation, and schedule optimization.
- Experience preparing management reports, dashboards, S-curves, histograms, and project presentations.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to mentor junior planning team members and work effectively in multicultural, multidisciplinary environments.
