Parsons is seeking a Senior Utilities Engineer
- Design Services to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on the review and development of wet utilities designs covering water supply and distribution, wastewater collection, storm drainage, irrigation, and external firefighting systems. The position requires a Civil Engineering background, eight years of relevant experience, and proficiency with engineering design applications including WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and StormCAD.

• Review and revise utilities designs associated with civil wet services, including storm drainage, irrigation, water supply, wastewater, and external firefighting systems.
• Coordinate utilities design requirements with relevant engineering disciplines within the office.
• Perform professional civil engineering work associated with the design, construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of utility structures and facilities.
• Work with water supply and distribution systems, wastewater collection infrastructure, storm drainage, irrigation networks, and external firefighting systems.
• Use Computer Aided Engineering and CAD applications as required for utilities engineering and design assignments.
• Provide direction while supporting a high-performance and customer service-oriented working environment.
• Plan, organize, and manage assigned work to support effective use of resources and workload.

• B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design and presentation software.
• Experience using WaterCAD, SewerCAD, StormCAD, or similar applications.

• Familiarity with international and local codes and standards applicable to Riyadh and Saudi Arabia.
• GCC experience will be an advantage.

The Senior Utilities Engineer will work across several interconnected wet utility systems and coordinate their design requirements with other engineering disciplines. Assignments may involve Computer Aided Engineering and CAD applications for the analysis and development of water, wastewater, drainage, irrigation and firefighting infrastructure. The role requires the ability to review and revise designs while maintaining awareness of applicable local and international engineering requirements.
