- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Required:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in road and highway design, preferably including work on major highways and interchanges.
- Solid experience in geometric road design, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, and junction layouts in accordance with relevant international and local standards.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing designs prepared by third-party consultants and producing structured, technically robust review comments.
- Working knowledge of pavement design principles and road safety engineering, with the ability to understand, challenge, and refine third-party proposals.
- Experience contributing to concept development and value engineering on road and highway projects.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment and coordinating with other disciplines.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach, with willingness to support PMO processes and collaborate across teams to enhance overall project delivery.
- Previous experience in a design consultancy and/or PMC/PMO environment.
- Experience participating in design review workshops, value engineering sessions, or technical coordination meetings for major infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Skills Required:- Proficiency with relevant road design tools ("e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, InRoads, or equivalent") sufficient to test concepts and prepare supporting sketches and exhibits.
