We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our contracting and construction company.
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our contracting and construction company.
The candidate will supervise electrical and low-current works on site, coordinate electrical subcontractors, and ensure that installations comply with approved designs, specifications and authority requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5–7 years of site experience in electrical works for building projects.
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
- Good knowledge of power distribution, lighting, low-current systems (fire alarm, data, CCTV) and earthing.
- Familiarity with SBC and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) requirements.
- Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation of electrical power, lighting and low-current systems.
- Ensure works comply with approved shop drawings, specifications and SEC requirements.
- Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams to resolve interfaces.
- Review electrical material submittals and shop drawings.
- Monitor electrical subcontractors’ progress, manpower and materials.
- Raise inspection requests and attend inspections with QA/QC and the consultant.
- Plan and witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Coordinate permanent power connection with SEC.
- Prepare electrical progress reports and as-built documentation.
