Position Overview Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Roads Design Engineer to join its Project Management Office (PMO) team supporting major highway and infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on advanced highway engineering, technical design reviews, geometric road design, pavement engineering, and road safety assessments. The successful candidate will review road and interchange designs at concept and detailed design stages, ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and effective coordination across infrastructure disciplines.
Working within a multidisciplinary PMO environment, the Senior Roads Design Engineer will evaluate third-party design submissions, assess alternative engineering solutions, coordinate technical comments, and support design approvals. A significant responsibility involves leading or participating in formal Road Safety Audits at key project stages, ensuring that safety findings are documented and appropriately addressed in the design. Candidates must have 15 years of relevant roadway design experience, strong technical expertise in complex highway and interchange design, and a recognized Road Safety Auditor certification or equivalent accredited qualification.
