As a Senior BO RAN Engineer
- Automation supporting TANINT in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of Ericsson back office operations, network performance tuning, alarm handling, and automated workflow implementation across mission-critical telecommunications infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing Ericsson 2G, 4G/LTE, and 5G RAN operations, alarm handling, KPI monitoring, and advanced trace analysis, developing, testing, and deploying robust Python scripts and AMOS automation solutions to streamline network operations, executing site integration, configuration management, and complex radio-parameter changes across live radio networks, automating operational workflows, health checks, and performance reporting routines, leading incident management, crisis remediation, and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex RAN network anomalies, collaborating closely with cross-functional network engineering, field operations, and vendor squads in Agile sprint cycles, preparing comprehensive technical documentation of automation scripts, optimization reports, and operational runbooks, and managing application requirements.

You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex RAN performance bottlenecks under strict service level agreements. Furthermore, you will manage application requirements ensuring strict compliance with the Riyadh on-site presence and Ericsson operational background.

• Manage and optimize Ericsson 2G, 4G/LTE, and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) back office operations and performance metrics.
• Develop, test, and implement custom Python and AMOS automation solutions to improve network performance and operational efficiency.
• Execute comprehensive RAN troubleshooting, alarm handling, KPI monitoring, and advanced protocol trace analysis.
• Perform site integration, configuration management, software upgrades, and radio-parameter changes in live production environments.
• Automate daily operational workflows, health checks, performance reporting, and proactive maintenance routines.
• Lead incident management, rapid outage remediation, and rigorous root cause analysis (RCA) for complex RAN anomalies.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional network engineering, optimization, and field maintenance squads.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive technical documentation of automation scripts, configuration baselines, and operational runbooks.

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 to 8+ years of progressive professional experience in telecommunications engineering, specifically in Ericsson RAN back office operations.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on professional expertise in Ericsson 2G, 4G/LTE, and 5G network architecture and operations.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in Python programming and AMOS scripting for network automation.
• Deep practical experience in RAN troubleshooting, alarm correlation, KPI monitoring, and trace file analysis.
• Solid practical experience in site integration, configuration management, and radio-parameter optimization.
