BEC Arabia is seeking a motivated Assistant Engineer to join our dynamic HO Projects Department in Riyadh. As an Assistant Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure the successful execution of complex civil engineering and construction projects. You will play a critical role in supporting project planning, design reviews, on-site coordination, and quality assurance activities. This position offers a unique blend of office-based tasks and fieldwork, providing a comprehensive understanding of the engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and technical documentation to support engineering and construction activities.
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with project specifications, and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to review design drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
- Support the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor and document project progress, including preparing daily and weekly reports for internal and client review.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), safety regulations, and quality standards on all assigned projects.
- Participate in risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and MS Project for project planning and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives by integrating Mostadam and other green building standards into project designs.
- Maintain accurate records of engineering activities and ensure proper documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Support the implementation of digital construction technologies, including BIM tools, to enhance project efficiency.
