Solution Architect – Data Center Design

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect (SA) to support data center bidding, solution design, and technical proposal development. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting RFPs and bidding documents, developing high-level technical solutions, coordinating with customers and subcontractors, and collaborating with headquarters design teams to prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

The role requires strong technical expertise in data center electrical or mechanical design, independent working capabilities, and relevant professional certifications.

• Review and interpret Requests for Proposals (RFPs), bidding documents, and technical requirements, and prepare comprehensive technical responses.
• Develop technical proposals and high-level solutions based on customer requirements and internal project specifications.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to raise technical queries, clarify requirements, and resolve design-related issues.
• Participate in technical meetings with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment on project requirements and proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with Huawei headquarters design teams specializing in power distribution, HVAC, low-voltage systems, and civil engineering to develop technical solutions and prepare the BOQ.
• Provide dedicated on-site Solution Architect support in accordance with project schedules and work arrangements, covering bidding activities and technical requirements as needed.
• Ensure proposed solutions comply with project specifications, applicable design standards, and customer requirements.
• Independently manage assigned technical activities and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center electrical or mechanical design

• Valid ATD and CDCP (Certified Data Center Design Professional) certifications.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including electrical distribution, HVAC, low-voltage systems, and related engineering disciplines.
• Experience in RFP analysis, tendering, technical proposal preparation, high-level solution design, and BOQ development.
• Proven ability to coordinate with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong technical communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently on-site and manage technical responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work on-site according to project requirements and schedules.
