Overview

JOB SUMMARY

The Entertainment Technician- E & E to ensure the seamless operation of all technical aspects related to live entertainment and events within the park. This position plays a pivotal role in providing, strategic, planning, and operational excellence to support the department's goals and enhance the guest experience.

At Six Flags Qiddiya City, the Entertainment technician will be responsible for operating all technical aspects of live entertainment productions and special events, including audio, lighting, video, rigging, and show control systems including show props. This role ensures seamless technical execution that meets world-class standards, enhances guest experiences, and aligns with safety, quality, and creative expectations.

    Execute show calls and technical cues in coordination with entertainment technical supervisor, stage management and performance teams.

    Support rehearsals, show runs by ensuring equipment is correctly configured and functioning.

    Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all entertainment technical assets including show props to ensure operational readiness.

    Report technical faults and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.

    Follow all health, safety and operational procedures as directed by supervisors and managers

    Assist in the setup of temporary systems for seasonal and special events, ensuring tidy and safe installations.

    Assist in monitoring inventory levels and reporting needs for technical equipment- spare and consumables.

    Work collaboratively with fellow technicians, supervisors, and other entertainment staff to deliver high-quality guest experiences.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years Middle East and/or international work
  • Minimum of two years theme park experience
  • Minimum of two years experience in entertainment, theatre, show or event production
  • Theme park or cruise line experience
  • Professional understanding and communication of English (written and spoken)
  • Strong ability to work in the team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Minimum three years of theme park or event production experience.
  • Three years of experience in entertainment, theatre, show, or event production.
  • Understanding of live entertainment production processes.
  • Strong organisational skills, technical abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, QSYS, Disguise, Medialon, 7thsense, Grand MA, ETC lighting, Cham Sys, Yamaha, Digico and other industry appropriate applications and systems.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting and climbing.
