At Six Flags Qiddiya City, the Supervisor – Entertainment & Events Technical plays a key role in ensuring the flawless execution of all technical aspects of live entertainment and events. This role is responsible for supervising and guiding a team of skilled technicians, overseeing the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audio, visual, lighting, special effects, and staging equipment. The Supervisor ensures that equipment and systems are safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards, while delivering world-class technical support to create seamless and engaging entertainment experiences for our guests.

Reponsabilities:

During Operations:

  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring smooth daily operations, proper staffing, and high-quality execution of technical setups.
  • Oversee the setup, operation, and strike of lighting, sound, video, rigging, and special effects systems for shows and events.
  • Ensure all technical operations adhere to safety regulations, equipment handling procedures, and international entertainment standards.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Provide hands‑on training, mentorship, and skill development for technicians, ensuring cross‑functional expertise within the team.
  • Collaborate with the Entertainment department, event managers, and external vendors to ensure technical requirements are met for all productions.
  • Monitor technical budgets, assist in cost control, and recommend improvements for cost efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with emerging entertainment technologies and recommend equipment upgrades to enhance guest experience.
  • Generate reports on technical operations, including equipment usage, incidents, and maintenance logs.
  • Act as the first escalation point for resolving technical issues during live performances and special events.
Education

High school/Diploma or above.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in entertainment, theatre, show or event production. Large waterpark or theme park or

cruise line management .

Skills
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining audio, lighting, video, rigging, and special effects equipment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities, both with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple setups and rapid turnarounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and guest satisfaction in all technical operations.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic environment with teams ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, QSYS, Disguise, Medialon, 7thsense, Grand MA, ETC lighting, Allen & Heath, Yamaha, Digico and other industry appropriate applications and systems.
