Accountant – Legal Firm
SAR 15-18,000 plus ticket and medical for self, Riyadh KSA

Our client is a global law firm that is currently expanding its team based in the KSA. The Riyadh office is a small sized office with most of its support coming from the UAE. As part of their growth they are currently looking for a professional Accountant to be based in the Riyadh office and liaise back with the Finance Manager in the UAE.

This is a great opportunity to join a very professional and highly regarded Global law firm. This is considered a Junior to Mid level role. This is not a management role.

• Bank reconciliation and report
• Branch cash / liquidity management
• Management and accounting of revenue
• Management of Account Receivables
• Management reporting on time recording, fee income and receivables
• In conjunction with the Revenue Manager, management of collections and debt
• Adherence to the Firm's standards on client/matter uptake
• Client fund accounting and adherence to Law Society rule
• Observe and obtain adherence to Firm's policies on authority levels and travel
• Liaison with local vendors and suppliers, including mobile operators and translators
• Hold petty cash
• Provision of general clerical support to the Finance functions

In order to be considered for this role, we are looking for someone who has a minimum of 5 years experience as an accountant in a legal firm, professional services or the services sector. This role would not be suitable for someone who is from manufacturing or construction. You should have a recognized accounting qualification such as CMA or something equivalent.

You must possess excellent communication skills in English and have conversational Arabic. In addition your Excel and Word skills must be excellent. You must be able to demonstrate a maturity and flexibility in your work, able to deal with senior management and able to prioritise in a very demanding work environment. Like with all accounting roles, month end, quarter end and financial year end are intense times and this role needs someone who can take that pressure with ease.
