Role Purpose
A results-driven and detail-oriented Finance Manager is required to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong finance knowledge, hands‑on experience in the Gulf market, and the ability to manage budgeting, reporting, taxation, and financial controls.
Key Accountabilities & Activities- Financial Management & Reporting: Manage daily finance operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger. Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Generate financial analysis reports to support business strategy and cost control.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and monitor actuals against budgeted figures. Prepare variance analysis and financial forecasts for management review.
- Internal Controls & Audit: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. Coordinate internal and external audits and address findings effectively.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage daily cash flow, bank transactions, and financial liquidity. Optimize working capital and manage vendor payments and receivables.
- ERP & Financial Systems: Oversee implementation and optimization of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Ensure consistent use of accounting standards and systems.
- Strategic Finance Partner: Act as a strategic business partner to the Group CEO/CFO and executive team. Support evaluations, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and investment appraisals.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the finance team ensuring high performance and knowledge sharing. Build a strong compliance and reporting culture aligned with the company values.
- Strong command of IFRS and relevant rules.
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Proficient in accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English;
Arabic is a plus.
- A degree in Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification like CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Prior experience in Gulf region with knowledge of local financial regulations is a must.
