Senior Accountant | Car Rental | Saudi

A leading company operating in the professional services sector is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team.

The company is recognized for ensuring financial integrity, compliance with international standards, and driving informed decision-making through accurate reporting.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, and tax compliance across group entities. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to support strategic financial decisions through analysis and modelling.

• Oversee daily accounting operations, transactions, and month-end closures.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual Trial Balances and Financial Statements in alignment with IFRS

• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants, ensuring legal and financial compliance.
• Participate in budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Handle VAT, WHT, Zakat
  , and other tax‑related matters.
• Develop financial models and management reports to support informed decision‑making.
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency and strong internal controls across financial transactions.
• Provide recommendations for process improvement, cost optimisation and financial performance enhancement.
• Facilitate cross‑functional coordination to support operational and financial efficiency.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Accounting & Finance.
• CMA certification is mandatory.
• FMVA or other finance‑related certifications are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Advanced skills in Excel, financial modelling, reporting, and budgeting.
• Experience with Odoo ERP is a plus.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical, communication and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
