A leading Saudi-based investment manager is seeking a senior, relationship-driven Fund Manager to lead origination and portfolio development for its Private Debt Fund, focused on SME borrowers in Saudi Arabia.

This role is highly origination-led and best suited to a senior professional with a deep SME network, strong market credibility, and a proven ability to consistently bring quality borrowers into a lending platform.

While sound credit judgment and transaction experience are required, the key differentiator is your ability to originate, structure, and manage long-term SME financing relationships.

• Originate SME financing opportunities across Saudi Arabia in line with the fund’s mandate
• Leverage an established personal network to generate a strong and sustainable deal pipeline
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant businesses
• Act as the primary relationship owner from origination through maturity

• Serve as the front-facing representative of the fund to borrowers and partners
• Build trust-based, long-term relationships to support repeat business and portfolio stability
• Manage borrower expectations throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Work closely with internal investment, credit, and legal teams on deal structuring and execution
• Take ownership of credit files, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with internal risk frameworks
• Apply practical, market-informed credit judgment
• Present transactions to the Investment Committee, clearly articulating:
• Relationship context
• Transaction structure and recommendation
• Address IC feedback and drive timely approvals
• Oversee an active portfolio of SME financing transactions
• Monitor performance, covenant compliance, and early warning indicators
• Collaborate on mitigation strategies where required

• 7+ years’ experience in:
• Corporate or SME banking
• Relationship management within banks
• Financing companies or non-bank lenders
• Private credit or direct lending platforms
• Strong preference for candidates with RM / Senior RM experience and direct origination responsibility
• Saudi market experience is mandatory

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• CFA, FRM, or similar certifications are a plus
