Purpose of Job-
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Remittance Strategy Consultant to provide strategic advisory services to our clients remittance team. The consultant will be instrumental in enhancing remittance flows through our digital channels, identifying and developing new remittance corridors, and fostering partnerships with fintech companies.
TASKS Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Strategic Advisory:
Develop and implement strategies to increase remittance volumes via digital platforms, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall objectives. - Market Expansion:
Identify and evaluate new remittance corridors, conducting market analyses to assess potential opportunities and risks. - Initiative Implementation:
Lead the execution of initiatives aimed at scaling the remittance business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery. - Stakeholder Liaison:
Serve as the primary point of contact between Master Card Cross-Border Services and the bank, facilitating communication and addressing any issues that arise. - Trend Monitoring:
Stay abreast of emerging trends in the remittance industry, providing insights and recommendations to keep the bank competitive. - Fintech Partnerships:
Explore and establish partnerships with fintech companies to enhance remittance offerings and expand service capabilities.
- Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in the remittance industry, with a proven track record of increasing remittance volumes for banking institutions. - Product Implementation:
Demonstrated experience in developing and launching remittance products and solutions. - Regional Expertise:
Prior experience working in the Middle East, with a deep understanding of the regional remittance landscape. - Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with digital remittance platforms and emerging fintech solutions. - Communication
Skills:
Exceptional ability to liaise with internal teams and external partners, with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. - Analytical Aptitude:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed strategic decisions.
