The Senior Officer, Audit Quality and Excellence supports the effectiveness of internal audit practices across the organization. The role focuses on monitoring the execution of the audit strategy, tracking key performance indicators, and preparing regular progress reports for strategic initiatives. The candidate will help develop and update audit methodologies, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with internal standards and international audit requirements.
The role also includes coordinating with audit teams to support reporting needs and maintaining consistent and professional documentation.
- Measure and monitor progress in executing the audit strategy and departmental plans, track performance indicators continuously, and prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports for strategic projects and initiatives.
- Prepare detailed work plans and track implementation in coordination with relevant departments.
- Perform and ensure quality across all stages of internal audit processes, ensuring alignment with the approved methodology and international internal audit standards.
- Contribute to developing the internal audit methodology, policies, and procedures, and support the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance Program (QAIP).
- Prepare professional templates and reports to support planning activities and audit quality.
- Collect and analyze necessary data and information to prepare and update audit plans.
- Coordinate with various audit departments to support reporting requirements and operational follow-up.
- 3–6 years of experience in internal audit, quality, or business development.
- Practical experience in internal audit, quality, or business development.
- Strong understanding of International Internal Audit Standards and internal control concepts.
- Advanced proficiency in developing executive-level presentations using PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of Excel, including analytical models, pivot tables, and performance reports.
- Strong ability to prepare clear, professional reports that deliver key messages with accuracy and brevity.
- Strong reporting skills and the ability to write findings in a clear, professional format.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills (design, content structuring, executive messaging).
- High proficiency in preparing professional documents and reports in both Arabic and English.
- Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) is a plus.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and writing skills in both Arabic and English.
Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams and support various tasks with flexibility and initiative.
