Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting
The Financial Operations (Fin Ops) Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions through thorough reconciliation processes and analytics. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, and the ability to gather and analyze stakeholder inputs. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automation of streamlining data accuracy and standardization practices in a fintech or financial services environment, working in close collaboration with the product and financial teams, and having a keen eye for detail.

- Extract relevant data from database queries using SQL and SFTP using automated extraction scripts for analytical purposes.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and revenue reports of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness for the loan products of Tabby.
- Develop and implement reconciliation processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies between internal and external statements.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including finance, operations, and technology teams, to highlight and resolve gaps to fully automate data accuracy across internal and external sources.
- Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
- Maintain thorough documentation of analytical processes and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations.
- Project manage financial reconciliation and revenue attribution projects across multiple internal and external teams and stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain the life cycle of relevant data tools and tables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2‑3 years of experience in a reconciliation or financial analytics role, preferably within a fintech or financial services company.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis. Experience with Tableau and Big Query is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with financial systems and reconciliation tools.
- Ability to gather and analyze inputs from various stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
