The Head of Corporate Finance is responsible for financial strategy, including merger sand acquisitions, investment management, banking relationships, and equity analysis. This senior role requires a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a similar leadership position, and a professional qualification such as CA or CFA.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities to support the company's
  • strategic growth objectives.
  • Oversee due diligence processes, financial modeling, and integration planning to ensure
  • successful transactions.
  • Collaborate with legal, tax, and operational teams to structure deals that align with corporate
  • goals.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies to optimize the company's financial performance
  • and capital allocation.
  • Analyze potential investment opportunities, including market research, risk assessment, and
  • return on investment evaluations.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of existing investments, recommending adjustments as
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors to
  • support the company's financing needs.
  • Negotiate financing terms, credit facilities, and other banking services to ensure favorable
  • conditions for the company.
  • Ensure compliance with all banking covenants and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the analysis of equity markets to inform strategic decisions related to capital raising,
  • share repurchases, and investor relations.
  • Provide insights into market trends, valuation metrics, and competitor performance to guide
  • Collaborate with the investor relations team to effectively communicate the company's financial
  • performance and strategy to shareholders.
  • Lead the development of financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning
  • and decision-making.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior
  • management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • and company policies.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and
  • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to support
  • team growth.
  • Promote collaboration and effective communication within the finance team and across
  • departments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst
  • (CFA) is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field,
  • with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in leading M&A transactions, investment management, and maintaining
  • banking relationships.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and corporate finance principles.
  • Ability to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's long-term
  • objectives.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and
  • make informed recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
  • including senior executives, investors, and financial institutions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and regulatory landscapes.
