Job Purpose:
Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled and visionary leader to join our team as the Executive Director - Business Finance (SPT & Art & Culture). This critical role is responsible for overseeing financial operations that support our diverse initiatives in sports, performing arts, and culture, as we aim to develop an iconic destination that inspires creativity and recreational excellence.
The Executive Director will provide strategic financial leadership, guiding financial decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics critical to project growth and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to foster financial best practices, optimize resource allocation, and drive performance across our business finance landscape.
1. Strategic Financial Leadership:- Lead financial planning and strategic analysis for sports, performing arts, and cultural initiatives, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s vision and goals.
- Develop and implement business finance strategies that effectively support operational needs while maximizing ROI across diverse projects.
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to the executive team, offering insights and recommendations based on rigorous financial analysis.
- Direct budgeting processes for the sports and arts portfolio, ensuring effective allocation of financial resources to achieve company objectives.
- Implement fiscal controls and performance metrics that provide actionable insights into financial health and operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets, providing timely variance analysis and reporting to senior management.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Implement best practices in financial governance, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation for financial audits and assessments.
- Identify and analyze financial risks related to business finance in arts, culture, and sports, formulating strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Develop and implement risk management policies to protect organizational assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure full adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear objectives and performance benchmarks for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Encourage professional growth and development through mentoring, training, and leadership opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, partners, and community organizations.
- Communicate financial strategies and results clearly to diverse audiences, ensuring transparency and understanding.
- Support stakeholder engagement initiatives that promote collaboration and strategic partnerships for project success.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or equivalent relevant certification greatly beneficial.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in senior finance roles, with a focus on business finance within the sports, arts, and culture sectors.
