Role Purpose

The role holder is responsible for supporting the Investment Banking Advisory, Debt Advisory and Project Export Finance teams in the day to day execution and business activities, in order to provide clients with high quality of service management and solutions using HSBC knowledge and resources.

Principal Accountabilities:

Impact on the Business
  • Support and assist in conducting preliminary financial and commercial due diligence, accuracy of financial models, and identification of any risks with the investment, create/analyse financial models and develop company valuations.
  • Support the Associate, Associate Director and Director in performing any analysis and preparing reports for clients and top management
  • Prepare marketing materials for client pitches, road shows and marketing activities in order to achieve growth in business.
  • Conduct market monitoring activities and seek reporting of market information and Capital market performance on a periodic basis, and raise any risks or issues on the projects to the Director or Head of unit.
  • Conduct research that assesses the existing market environment, monitors changes in external policy guidelines and evaluates their implications on project decisions
  • Produce regular reports for management and working groups.
  • Prepare and maintain of the KYC, Conflict checks, Closing files, the department database and ensure proper documentation and filing of all clients and stakeholders documents.
Customers / Stakeholders
  • Support Directors on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules.
  • Escalate to Directors on potential delays/risks identified on a regular basis.
  • Assist Directors in preparation of project reports.
