Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Government Relations Officer to join our team. The Government Relations Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with government agencies and officials, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and representing the company's interests in all government-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and officials at the local, state, and federal levels
  • Stay up-to-date with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies that may impact the company's operations
  • Ensure compliance with all government requirements and maintain accurate records of all necessary permits, licenses, and other documents
  • Act as a liaison between the company and government agencies, handling all communication and requests
  • Represent the company's interests in all government-related matters, including negotiations, meetings, and hearings
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate submission of required documents and reports to government agencies
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations on government policies and regulations that may impact the company's operations
  • Monitor and report on any changes in government policies or regulations that may affect the company
  • Handle any issues or disputes that may arise with government agencies, working towards a resolution in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in government relations, preferably in the UAE
  • Strong understanding of UAE government policies and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and agencies
  • Proven track record of successfully managing government relations for a company
  • Strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
