We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Public Relations Officer (PRO) / Government Relations Officer (GRO) to manage government-related processes, regulatory compliance, and administrative matters. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between the company and various government authorities, ensuring timely processing of licenses, permits, visas, and other statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Government Relations- Liaise with government departments, ministries, and regulatory authorities on behalf of the company.
- Process and monitor company registrations, licenses, permits, and renewals.
- Manage correspondence with government entities and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain strong working relationships with relevant authorities.
- Process employment visas, work permits, residence permits (Iqama), and related documentation.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding procedures with government authorities.
- Monitor visa validity and renewal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor and immigration regulations.
- Track expiry dates of commercial registrations, municipal licenses, certificates, and permits.
- Ensure timely renewal of company licenses and registrations.
- Maintain compliance records and documentation.
- Support internal compliance audits and regulatory inspections.
- Prepare and submit applications, forms, and supporting documents.
- Maintain accurate records of all government transactions.
- Coordinate document attestation, notarization, and legalization processes.
- Provide updates to management on regulatory developments affecting the business.
- Assist management with government-related inquiries and requirements.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Legal departments on compliance matters.
- Facilitate communication between employees and government agencies when required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in PRO/GRO or government relations roles within Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws, immigration regulations, and government procedures.
- Experience with government portals such as Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher, Mudad, GOSI, and ZATCA.
- Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Familiarity with company formation and licensing procedures in Saudi Arabia.
- Knowledge of Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and government processes efficiently.
- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Ability to communicate effectively with government authorities, regulatory bodies, clients, and internal stakeholders in both languages.
