Director - Planning

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the statutory planning control framework for Qiddiya City
• Manage the translation and integration of City Framework Plan masterplans into a coordinated city-wide planning system
• Contribute to the expansion of permitting activities to support the QIC Group including operational permits and licenses
• Support engagement with government stakeholders to facilitate permitting processes including coordination of MOUs SLAs and other agreements
• Manage and define future permitting and licensing responsibilities for Qiddiya City
• Contribute to the design and improvement of systems and processes for future permitting responsibilities
• Support the development of the technology roadmap for managing Qiddiya City s regulatory ecosystem
• Manage the implementation of technology solutions and digital systems to support critical regulatory and permitting services

• Bachelor s degree in Urban Planning, City Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Public Policy, Real Estate Development, or a related field; a master s degree is preferred
• Proven experience in statutory planning, urban development frameworks, master planning, or regulatory planning within large-scale city development projects
• Ability to support the design and implementation of governance structures, service models, MOUs, SLAs, and stakeholder agreements
• 15+ years of relevant experience in urban planning, regulatory frameworks, permitting, city management, or related fields
