Job Scope
The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa, ensuring exceptional guest experience, efficient team management, and maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene, and wellness treatments.
- Oversee the daily operations of the spa to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Manage and supervise spa therapists, receptionists, and spa attendants
- Ensure all spa services are delivered in accordance with established quality and brand standards
- Monitor spa bookings, occupancy levels, and operational performance
- Develop and implement spa promotions, packages, and wellness programs to increase revenue
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety across all spa facilities
- Manage spa inventory (treatment supplies, retail products, and equipment)
- Train, coach, and develop spa team members to maintain excellent service standards
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Ensure all therapists follow proper treatment protocols and service standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction and handle guest feedback or complaints professionally
- Ensure treatment rooms and spa areas are properly maintained, clean, and fully equipped
- Work closely with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to enhance the guest experience
- Monitor spa financial performance including revenue, expenses, and profitability
- Prepare operational reports related to spa performance and guest satisfaction
- Promote spa retail products and ensure team members actively recommend them to guests
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, inventory, and spa operations
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of spa team members
- Support marketing initiatives and collaborate with the marketing team to promote spa services
- Ensure all spa equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Spa Management, or related field.
- Professional spa or wellness certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent guest service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of spa treatments, wellness programs, and spa operations.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, revenue targets, and operational performance.
- Professional presentation and strong service mindset.
