The Beauty Trainer
- Makeup and Retail will support the development of beauty consultants and sales teams by sharing practical expertise in makeup application, product use, customer consultation, and retail selling techniques. The role requires hands-on industry knowledge so that training reflects real customer situations and current beauty practices. By combining artistry with commercial awareness, the trainer will help employees improve product confidence, application skills, customer recommendations, and sales performance.

Coaching will also support consistent brand representation and stronger customer experiences across beauty retail environments.

• Deliver practical beauty and makeup training to retail employees.
• Demonstrate professional makeup application techniques and product usage.
• Coach beauty consultants on customer consultation and product recommendation methods.
• Share practical knowledge gained from hands‑on makeup artistry or beauty therapy experience.
• Support employees in developing confidence when demonstrating cosmetics to customers.
• Reinforce correct application techniques for different products and customer requirements.
• Provide guidance on makeup preparation, application, finishing, and product selection.
• Coach retail teams on combining beauty expertise with effective selling techniques.
• Support staff in identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate cosmetics.
• Reinforce upselling and cross‑selling opportunities while maintaining a customer‑focused approach.
• Help employees understand how product knowledge contributes to stronger sales performance.
• Monitor sales‑related performance indicators and identify areas where additional coaching may improve results.
• Provide individual feedback and practical development support to team members.
• Mentor less experienced beauty consultants when required.
• Assist with developing employees who demonstrate potential for more advanced beauty or training responsibilities.

• Use demonstrations and practical examples to make training relevant to daily retail situations.

Candidates should have 2-4 years of active, hands‑on experience as a makeup artist, beauty therapist, beauty consultant, or in a closely related beauty role.
