PositionQuality Analyst - Building 20

Essential Responsibilities and Duties- Collects data from medical records and other sources, analyses data, prepares and presents reports for the assigned section, inclusive of summary of the information, trending of the data with graphical presentation, and recommendations.
- Participates in PI teams for PI project and activities. Validates and documents the accuracy of collected data for performance improvement activities and for decision support data.
- Processes incidents reported in the Safety Reporting System (SRS) and performs required investigations, including the conduction of root cause analysis of actual and potential serious/sentinel events in the Hospital.
- Maintains databases related to the assigned section.
- Performs clinical responsibilities within related specialties such as (Nursing, Laboratory, Respiratory, Pharmacy, etc.) as assigned.
- Participates in committees and taskforces as assigned.
- Conducts educational sessions relating to the assigned section and quality, safety, and customer services related education as assigned.
- Participates in implementing Quality Management and Quality Improvement programs.
- Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures.
- Participates in self and others' education, training, and development, as applicable.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Nursing, Health Allied, or other related discipline is required.
Experience
Required:
Two (2) years of related experience with Master’s, or four (4) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Other Requirements: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Professional Patient Safety (CPPS) or any Quality related certifications (i.e. CPHRM, Lean, Six Sigma (ASQ or equivalent), ISQUA, etc.) is preferred.
