Laboratory Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laboratory Technician / Phlebotomist, based in Riyadh, working within a Sample Collection Center. The role primarily involves patient reception and blood sample collection, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and professional experience for all patients.

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing venipuncture and specimen collection, properly labeling and preparing samples for laboratory analysis, and ensuring full compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming and assisting patients, verifying patient information, preparing collection areas, maintaining cleanliness and accuracy in the collection center, and documenting samples and patient data in an organized and accurate manner.

• Proven ability to perform venipuncture and blood sample collection safely and accurately
• Experience in patient reception and direct patient interaction within a healthcare or collection center setting
• Knowledge of proper sample labeling, handling, and preparation for laboratory analysis
• Strong understanding of infection control, health, and safety regulations related to sample collection
• Attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures and protocols accurately
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced sample collection environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to ensure patient comfort and cooperation
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Phlebotomy, Microbiology, or a related field
