Overview
nakhla is seeking a Human Resource Specialist to support the growth of our organization by developing strong HR processes, managing talent acquisition, and fostering a healthy, high-performance culture. This role is ideal for someone who understands the dynamics of fast-moving tech environments and can build people systems that scale with the company.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and improve the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires across technical and non-technical roles.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, guidelines, and compliance procedures aligned with local labor laws.
- Support leadership in workforce planning, performance reviews, and organizational development initiatives.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience.
- Maintain HR records, contracts, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support employee engagement programs, team-building activities, and internal communications.
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and fairness.
- Collaborate with finance on payroll, benefits, and compensation updates.
- Monitor and improve workplace culture, ensuring alignment with nakhlas mission and values.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional HR experience, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards.
- Experience managing recruitment pipelines and using ATS tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience scaling HR operations in early-stage startups.
- Familiarity with performance management frameworks (OKRs, KPIs, etc.).
- Experience designing compensation structures and career paths.
- Knowledge of HR analytics and reporting tools.
- Efficient hiring pipelines that bring in high-quality talent quickly.
- Documented HR processes that scale with team growth.
