Balance between coding/automation and operating our systems. This is in order to handle IT operation from a software engineering perspective and use software engineering skills as a tool to manage systems, solve problems, and automate operations tasks. As SRE, you will be responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.

• Understand client requirements and how they translate into application features, and collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications.
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines, and perform unit and integration testing, functional and non-functional testing before launch.
• Apply CI/CD for applications, and Git Ops concepts during software development life cycle, and ensure compliance of all regulations (e.g. security, change management, etc.) during SDLC.
• Build/write software that automates repeated operations tasks.
• Manage systems logging, monitoring, and alerts, and plan for failure and reduce its impact. Operate and manage systems and ensure their reliability, troubleshoot and debug applications, and support escalation. Provide on-call support.
• Harden CI/CD process to have more reliable releases and act as an enabler for product teams to deliver reliable product faster.
• Conduct full-stack troubleshooting skills across network, application, hardware, and other layers. Document incidents and build knowledge base to provide self-service guide and troubleshooting for other engineers. Manage system incidents and work to prevent them in the future.
• Build tools and services that enable engineers to deliver operationally mature services in production and help teams with automating tedious tasks and enable them to quickly launch new services.

• Teamwork.
• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging market trends related to Enterprise Solutions.
• Basic understanding of application architecture.
• Basic knowledge of web API implementation, management, and security.
• Analytical skills.
• Continuous self-development.
• Extensive experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including, but not limited to, Java, Go, PHP.
• Awareness of databases and object storage.
• Demonstrated ability to debug, fix, and optimize code.
• Full-stack troubleshooting skills across network, application, hardware, and other layers.
• Good experience with git and Git Ops.
• Good knowledge of agility and its practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Excellent and high communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• At least one certificate related to cloud engineering or similar to it.
