Urgent Hire:
Arabic-Speaking Legal Counsel (MENA Telecom) – Exclusive Role

Responsibilities:

• Contract Management:
  Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, primarily focusing on tech wholesale services, network procurement, IT solutions, marketing, and general procurement (e.g., software installation, licenses, and support).
• Regulatory Affairs:
  Handle local and international regulatory matters, including telecommunications licensing, statutory filings, and liaison with regulators.
• Internal Advisory:
  Advise teams on contract status, policies, and standards, ensuring alignment with company procedures.
• Process Improvement:
  Support the optimization of contracting processes and compliance frameworks.
• Stakeholder
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Provide legal support across compliance, finance, operations, and business development for regional projects.
• Documentation:
  Refine legal templates, playbooks, and training materials; manage contract and agreement archives.
• Legal Research:
  Conduct research and provide regulatory analysis.
• Ad-hoc Assignments:
  Participate in additional projects as required.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) in Common Law or equivalent.
• Bar admission in one of the MENA countries or an international jurisdiction are a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within the telecommunications, technology, or related industries. Experience in telecommunications regulatory affairs is a merit.
• Experience working in multiple jurisdictions across the MENA region is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of corporate and commercial law, especially in the telecom sector.
• Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in MENA countries, particularly in telecom licensing and compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple legal matters in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Good command of English. Arabic literacy is a must.
• Willingness to travel across the region as required.
