Role Purpose

Ensure data classification, encryption, backup, and loss prevention policies are implemented and operationalized across the environment in alignment with Saudi regulations and organizational requirements.

• Lead implementation of data loss prevention (DLP) and encryption solutions.
• Oversee data backup, recovery, and retention strategies.
• Drive data classification and tagging per defined schema.
• Ensure compliance with data sovereignty and handling policies.
• Monitor for data exfiltration attempts and policy violations.

• 8+ years in data security roles.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Symantec DLP, Veeam/Commvault.
• Knowledge of NDMO, PDPL, and local data protection laws.
• Certifications:
  
  CIPP, CISA, or equivalent preferred.
