Tamheer Trainee – Network, Communications & Security

Job Purpose: To support the Network and Communications team in maintaining, monitoring, and improving the organization’s network, communication, and network security systems, while gaining hands‑on practical experience aligned with Tamheer program objectives and industry standards.

• Assist in day‑to‑day operations of network and communication systems (LAN/WAN, internet connectivity, and internal networks).
• Support network security activities, including monitoring firewalls, access controls, and basic security configurations under supervision.
• Assist in implementing and supporting network and communication projects.
• Help monitor network performance, availability, and security alerts.
• Provide Level 1 support for network and communication‑related incidents and escalates issues when required.
• Support CCTV systems, telephony, and video conferencing solutions.
• Assist in maintaining network documentation, diagrams, and technical records.
• Participate in periodic reviews of network designs and security practices.
• Support asset management for network and communication equipment.
• Assist in preparing reports related to network operations and incidents.
• Follow IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
• Participate in training sessions and on‑the‑job learning activities.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networks, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Advanced English Level
• Eligible for the Tamheer Program (Saudi nationals, fresh graduates, not previously registered in GOSI).

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP).
• Basic understanding of network security principles (firewalls, access control, VPN concepts).
• Familiarity with networking devices (switches, routers) is an advantage.
• Interest in network security and communications technologies.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
