The job holder is responsible monitoring, investigation, and response to IT security incidents. Oversees vulnerability management activities, coordinates with cross-functional teams to implement security controls, and ensures IT systems comply with established cybersecurity policies and standards.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, practices, cost optimization, and productivity & efficiency improvement.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within WTCO and related functions such as but not limited to (HC, HSSE, Risk, Cybersecurity, etc..).
• Escalate problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Oversee SOC operational priorities to align detection workflows with evolving threat landscapes.
• Supervise vulnerability management roadmap to reduce critical and high-risk exposure.
• Approve enterprise segmentation blueprints to strengthen network isolation.
• Validate IAM/PAM governance audits to prevent privilege escalation risks.
• Integrate AI/ML-driven analytics to enhance anomaly detection capabilities.
• Lead quarterly executive risk briefings to communicate key operational threats.
• Approve IDS/IPS architecture updates to sustain detection coverage.
• Coordinate with project management to embed security in IT transformation projects.
• Direct advanced forensic investigations to resolve high-impact incidents.
• Review policy exception requests to manage controlled risk acceptance.
• Monitor regulatory compliance status to ensure audit readiness.
• Oversee full-scale disaster recovery testing to validate resilience capabilities.
