About the Role Service Now Technical Lead (ITAM & SPM)As a Service Now Technical Lead
, you’ll partner with clients to solve complex business challenges by designing and delivering robust, scalable solutions across the ITAM and SPM modules of the Service Now platform. You will take ownership of end-to-end implementations, act as a trusted advisor, and guide organizations in aligning platform capabilities with enterprise-wide asset and portfolio management strategies. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing leadership role that blends deep technical knowledge with strong consulting and communication skills.
- Lead full-cycle implementations of Service Now IT Asset Management (Hardware, Software, Cloud) and Strategic Portfolio Management (Demand, Project, Resource, APM, and Financial Planning).
- Conduct client workshops to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and define a clear implementation roadmap.
- Design, configure, and extend Service Now applications to optimize asset lifecycle management and strategic planning processes.
- Engage with business and IT stakeholders—including senior leadership—to ensure alignment between platform capabilities and organizational goals.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to Service Now best practices and architectural standards.
- Deliver enablement sessions, solution documentation, and post-go-live support to ensure user adoption and platform maturity.
- Continuously identify areas for innovation, automation, and improvement within client environments.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Service Now
, including significant experience delivering ITAM and/or SPM solutions. - Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management
, license compliance
, cloud cost optimization
, and strategic portfolio planning principles. - Proven experience architecting and delivering scalable Service Now solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead client workshops, define technical strategy, and influence decision‑making at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Required Certifications
:
Service Now CSA, and CIS–ITAM and/or CIS–SPM. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
