Innovation Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Management Specialist to help establish, structure, and operationalize Innovation Offices or departments within government entities and large organizations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing sustainable innovation ecosystems that support strategic objectives and drive digital transformation.

• Establish and structure the organizational framework for an Innovation Office / Innovation Management Department.
• Develop innovation strategies aligned with organizational goals and KPIs.
• Design and implement innovation management frameworks based on global best practices.
• Establish innovation governance including policies, processes, roles, and responsibilities.
• Manage the end-to-end innovation lifecycle from ideation to implementation and measurement.
• Foster an innovation culture and enable leaders and employees through training and engagement.
• Oversee the selection and implementation of digital innovation management platforms.
• Prepare executive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal/external innovation partners.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in corporate innovation management or related consulting.
• Proven experience in establishing and operating Innovation Offices/Departments.
• Strong knowledge of innovation methodologies (e.g., Open Innovation, Design Thinking).
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in improving work environments and services.
• Working knowledge of ISO 56000 Innovation Management standards.
• Certifications from Gi Ni (Global Innovation Institute) or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience working with government entities, especially in projects related to establishing Innovation Offices and DGA Qiyas standards, is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to prepare gap analysis documents and models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong professional document and presentation drafting skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English
